A se asigura in momentul decupajului in blat un spatiu suficient intre perete si lavoar, pentru ca montarea bateriei si a chiuvetei sa se poate efectua atat tehnic cat si estetic. Explicarea termenilor. Compozitul este format prin mixarea mai multor materiale, de obicei cuart sau granit, acrilic sau poliester. Chiuvetele din compozit de granit sunt rezistente la crapaturi si ciobiri, precum și la pete și zgarieturi. Montare reversibila un alt aspect important legat de aspectul instalarii o reprezinta posibilitatea de montare reversibila, utila pentru chiuvetele asimetrice (majoritatea modelelor) astfel incat sa se potriveasca indiferent de orientarea mobilei fata de perete. La modelele cu orificiu incorporat pentru baterii presupune de fapt prezenta a doua orificii simetrice, unul din ele fiind acoperit de un dop special ce poate fi mutat foarte usor pe celalalt.
